Other Details to Note
There is a trail on the 15 acre property of Kitty's Cabin that is only available to guests. The entrance is off the parking area in front. At times, it is a bit overgrown once one reached the opening, but those of you who are curious or adventurous can explore this trail that leads down to several small creeks that convene. Once at the opening after you get through the wooded trail, take a right at the opening. Dogs love this trail as well. One of my favorite things to do is to play in these creeks, arranging the rocks. Of course, how much water there is depends on the rain. There is also a huge stone fire pit down there, but we do not advertise it because it is only safe to use when there has been enough rain. Presently, it is too dry. This is something to consider for the future. Years ago a previous manager had some kind of bookings which involved some events of which we have no knowledge. If you make a reservations that refers to any such events, please know that we are do not having any events to offer. In fact, we have been working with Airbnb for over two weeks in an attempt to get them to remove this issue. Thank you for understanding. Because this is a mountain home, one might occasionally see an insect and upon rare occasion, a field mouse. Ongoing preventative pest control is provided by management. Kitty's is a safe space for folks from all minority and marginalized groups. We welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations. We believe everyone has a right to a peaceful vacation without fear of judgment.
